We have a 3-tiered approach:

Gold - The needs, the fence sitters, and the wants, all combined into one all-inclusive package, giving you everything you want. This is the ideal starting point as it sets the stage for the value engineering to be undertaken, it additionally highlights the desired outcomes from the project / investment, empowered with this information, we are able to further refine and propose alternatives to keep the delivered project as close to this as possible.

Silver - Here we look at the needs and the possibly needed items as the core importance with "Nice to have" items as a secondary priority. The primary function is to include the "possibly needed" items, to provide the additional benefits aside from the core project / investment requirements. Frameworks are in place to ensure communication, and decision-making is inclusive of the relevant stakeholders.

Bronze - The keep it simple and deliver the requirement, no bells and whistles, deliver the needs to meet the project / investment objectives. This tier prospers where budgets or timelines are tight and the delivery is required as an emergency function. Decision-making is clear, simple, and quick.

Irrespective of the delivery tier chosen, the delivery quality remains unchanged, the delivery tier options behave purely as value engineering and process optimization functions.
