Each Triforma director brings a wealth of specialized industry experience, knowledge, and skill, ensuring your project is in safe and capable hands for delivery. Unlike our competitors, Triforma directors have a hands on approach, providing direct oversight to your project, whilst continuously innovating, adapting to market trends, and reviewing performance for gains in both efficiency and effectiveness.

Meet The Team

Jacques Britz

Director

Jacques is a seasoned management and leadership professional with 18 years of experience driving complex projects across construction, infrastructure, and advanced technology sectors. With a strong academic foundation in mathematics, physics, and business, complemented by a micro-MBA and professional project management credentials, Jacques combines technical expertise with strategic vision.

His career highlights include securing USD $450M in funding for advanced technology research, leading national programmes of works, and delivering high-profile projects for government, education, and commercial clients.

Renowned for his ability to align cost, quality, safety, and time outcomes, Jacques has consistently built high-performing teams, mentored emerging leaders, and introduced innovative systems that enhance efficiency and profitability. His portfolio spans senior roles with Octa Associates, Build Interiors, Alaska Construction & Interiors, and ExperiTech, where he has demonstrated excellence in stakeholder engagement, risk and cost management, and operational leadership.

Jacques is recognized as a results-driven leader who thrives in challenging environments, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on project delivery to achieve sustainable, high-value outcomes.

Joe Jackson

Director

Joe is a seasoned construction professional with over 25 years of experience leading complex infrastructure and building projects across New Zealand and the Pacific.

With a strong foundation in civil engineering and a proven track record in project delivery, Joe has held senior roles including Project Director, Construction Manager, and Site Engineer, consistently driving results in high-stakes environments.

His expertise spans commercial, residential, and industrial developments, with a focus on stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and team leadership.

Known for his strategic oversight and hands-on approach, Joe brings a deep understanding of contract management, health and safety compliance, and quality assurance to every project he undertakes.

Tony Koonwaiyou

Director

After wrapping up a professional rugby career, Tony transitioned into the construction industry, becoming a qualified builder and gaining over a decade of hands-on experience. He began on the tools, delivering high-end fit outs for leading venues such as Botswana Butchery, Harborside Restaurant, Freeman & Grey Bar, and Silky Otter Cinemas, along with major infrastructure projects like the Mt Eden CRL tunnel.

As his career progressed, he moved into project management, where he successfully led large-scale commercial builds including Chemist Warehouse Silverdale and St Pierre’s Sushi Ruakura. This journey has equipped him with a unique blend of practical building expertise and strategic leadership capabilities.

Tony brings a strong foundation in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and risk management — always ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest standard. Tony leads with a collaborative mindset, clear communication, and a sharp eye for detail, ensuring both teams and stakeholders are aligned from start to finish.

Today, as Director of Triforma Build Group, Tony oversees residential builds, renovations, and commercial developments with precision, integrity, and care. Outside of work, you’ll find him enjoying time with his family — or clearing his head with a round of golf (badly, but enthusiastically).
